This folder contains three macros which will perform the most common backup operations that you will do.
1. Full Macro will perform a Full Backup of your hard drive.
2. Differential Macro will perform a Differential Backup.
3. Incremental Macro will perform an Incremental Backup.
It is beneficial to perform a Full Backup before executing either a differential or an incremental.
To use any of the three sample macros, simply double click on the icon of the macro of the backup type you wish to complete. For instance, if you wish to complete an Incremental Backup, double click on the "Incremental Macro" and Fastback Plus will automatically execute that type of Backup.
HINTS:
If you are running under MultiFinder in System 6.0x or are running under System 7, increase the Fastback Plus "Application Memory Size" in the Get Info window to 1024K. If you are backing up to a tape drive or have large amounts of data to be backed up, you will see better performance if you increase the memory allocation from 1500K to 2000K.
These macros will automatically select the largest hard drive mounted on your desktop as the backup source (the drive that will be backed up). They will also select the highest capacity media that Fastback Plus can find. For example, Fastback Plus will always select a tape drive over floppy drives. It will select 1.44Mb media over 800K media.
